Funk Tribu Drops ‘Hold On’ Tomorrow via TRIBE | Next release from viral star

Following the massive success of Azul which topped the Beatport Trance Charts, and became his biggest streaming launch to date, Colombian-born, Berlin-based producer and DJ Funk Tribu returns with his next single, Hold On, releasing tomorrow 25th July on his recently launched imprint TRIBE.

Where Azul offered a luminous, emotionally expansive entry into Funk Tribu’s sonic world, Hold On dives deeper into the tension between vulnerability and euphoria, a driving, high-energy anthem that reflects the resilience of the dancefloor spirit in today’s uncertain world.

Infused with trance nostalgia, rolling house grooves and cinematic momentum, Hold On continues to define the emotional DNA that has made Funk Tribu a standout voice in today’s club scene.

‘Hold On’ is a track I finished as summer was approaching. I set out to create something rooted in trance but gently infused with subtle house influences. It’s been sitting on my USB for a while now, and I’ve been waiting for the right moment to share it with you. This one holds a special place for me, it’s one of my personal favorite tracks I’ve produced so far.

This is the fourth release on TRIBE, the multidisciplinary label and platform Funk Tribu launched this year to amplify emotionally driven, identity-rooted electronic music. As the label continues to build momentum, Hold On marks the next chapter as a sound of perseverance, unity and pure rave catharsis.

This release follows the last TRIBE drop, Dream by Afem Syko x Linds, as the label begins to assemble a diverse roster of rising global talent with a shared ethos of creative freedom.

Fresh off closing out Awakenings Festival on his 24th birthday and with a full schedule of international tour dates including TRIBE’s upcoming debut event in Bogotá (5th & 6th September) and a major showcase during ADE in Amsterdam this October, Funk Tribu continues to lead the charge in a new movement of artists reclaiming the dancefloor as a space of truth, transformation & community.
