Gabriel Garzón release new album Montano
Brooklyn-born singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Gabriel Garzón-Montano is set to release his debut album Jardín on January 27 via Stones Throw Records.
Today, he shares “ The Game , ” available now and released tomorrow on all digital retailers. Speaking exclusively with FADER , he comments: "We all play the game. We can make the best of it and we can make the worst of it. I wrote this as a reminder not to take myself so seriously. It's easy to grow solemn and boring! This song says be brave and show your joy and give your love. Have a heart like a tangerine. You don't have to lose the game.”
Last month Garzón-Montano shared “ Sour Mango ” – a hypnotic blend of hard-hitting drums, ethereal strings, and impressionist piano chords that show how his formidable skills have come to fruition since the release of his widely acclaimed 2014 debut EP, Bishouné: Alma del Huila.
As he gears up for the release of Jardín, Gabriel has announced a NYC album release show on January 26th and UK/EU tour dates in February – full date listing below. Tickets will be available for purchase this Friday.
