Spanish power/thrash metallers In Vain to release new album "Architects of Mayhem" on November 5th via Fighter Records

Spanish power/heavy/thrash metal band In Vain will release their seventh full-length album, "Architects of Mayhem", on November 5th, 2026 through Fighter Records. The album will be available on CD and digitally. Formed in Madrid in 2004, In Vain have spent more than two decades developing a style based on speed and thrash metal, reinforced by classic power metal and epic melodies.

After their early demos, the band released debut album "Of Gods and Men" in 2009, combining classic heavy metal with 90s power metal and melodic thrash influences. "In Death We Trust" followed in 2012 with a more aggressive approach.

"The Little Things That Matter" arrived in 2014, pushing further into speed and thrash territory while retaining the melodic choruses of traditional power metal. Their fourth album, "IV", followed in 2017, bringing together aggression, technicality and melody.

During these years, In Vain performed at festivals including Euskal Metal, Metal Fox, Jaén Metal, Gineta Rock and Bodega Rock, and shared stages with bands such as S.A., Brainstorm, Vhäldemar and RAM.

After delays caused by the pandemic, the band released "All Hope Is Gone" in 2021. In 2024, with Julio Abadía on guitar and Manel Avrillón on bass, In Vain returned with "Back to Nowhere" through Fighter Records.

Throughout 2024 and 2025, the band focused on bringing that album to the stage while preparing their seventh studio record. "Architects of Mayhem" was recorded during the first half of 2026 and will once again be released through Fighter Records.
