Giulia Dabalà releases the single «Shut Up & Listen» featuring MC Yallah!

Giulia Dabalà teams up with MC Yallah to deliver a single that’s loud, raw, and unapologetic. «Shut Up & Listen» cranks the bass to the max, riding the unstoppable force of Yallah's flow. Together, they tear apart the long-term damage of growing up around people too critical and self-absorbed to listen.

Since her debut EP «Voices» released in 2018, Giulia Dabalà has had a variety of influences (hip-hop, electro, indie-pop, folk songs etc.). With her latest releases (including the recent single ‘Chew Toy’), she takes the approach even further, bringing together two producers from opposite worlds on the same tracks. She offers her compositions to Hook (Muthoni Drummer Queen, Murmures Barbares, etc.), known for his massive rap-style productions, and Ripperton, an electronic music producer from Lausanne, whose sense of detail and finesse she admires. Each of them in turn adds a new dimension to Giulia Dabalà's tracks, providing an ideal outlet for her eclectic musical tastes.
