Green Lung 's 'Free The Witch' re-issue EP out today!

South London-based heavy rock quintet GREEN LUNG have today reissued their debut EP, Free The Witch on vinyl and CD. The original release was the catalyst for a string of triumphs, and this reissue caps off a groundbreaking year for the group. Order Free The Witch HERE.

In 2019, GREEN LUNG:

• Released their debut full length, Woodland Rites
• Launched the album at a sold out show in London
• Played their first European mainland dates with Deathbell
• Performed at their first mainland festival at Street Mode in Greece
• Were picked as The Guardian's track of the week
• Were played on BBC Radio 1
• Confirmed for Bloodstock and Desertfest 2020

They comment: "2019 has been an incredible year for us as a band, we still can't believe the reaction to Woodland Rites and we're eternally grateful to everyone who's listened, spread the word or made it down to a show since it came out. We have some big plans for next year which we can't wait to reveal - rest assured we're going to be getting back on the road and playing these songs far and wide in 2020."

The band also today announced a show in Manchester with Church of the Cosmic Skull for next year, with more shows being booked as you read. Plans are also afoot for a re-issue of Woodland Rites, and more news is due on that in the new year.

Originally released digitally and on cassette in February 2018 via Deckhead Records, the 2019 re-boot of Free The Witch sees the sought after tracks available on LP/CD thanks to Kozmik Artifactz. The release also includes a bonus track, When The Axe Comes Down which was recorded during the original Free The Witch sessions at Bear Bites Horse studio in 2017. The expanded five-track release has been remastered by producer, Wayne Adams (Big Lad/Petbrick).
