Guitarist Chris Sanderson commented "'Lessons of the Past' was written in reaction to the murder of George Floyd and the events that followed. In particular the track focuses on police brutality, abuse of power, systemic oppression/racism and how people not taking a stand against that only encourages it to manifest.

"For the video we wanted something visually fun, with serious undertones relating to the themes of intolerance and injustice in the lyrics."

Representing Southampton, Grove Street blend elements of hardcore and thrash that gives a heavy nod to the sound of early 90s crossover. Firmly established as favourites in the UKHC scene, the band have toured with legendary bands such as Agnostic Front and Sick of It All, as well as making major festival appearances including Download and Boomtown.
