Gus Dapperton shares new song + short film - Announce EU / UK tour

Gus Dapperton has gone from bedroom dreamer to headlining artist in a short period of time, and with due cause. He quietly ascended to the forefront of the pop conversation on the heels of viral smashes such as “Prune, You Talk Funny” and “I’m Just Snacking,” averaging around 1 million monthly Spotify listeners, selling out shows worldwide, and earning acclaim from i-D, Vogue, The Fader, Pigeons & Planes and more.

Today, Dapperton adds to his canon with the new single, “World Class Cinema,” accompanied by a video directed with his longtime collaborator Matthew Dillon Cohen. The duo takes the standard music video format and transforms it into a cinematic escape, with Dapperton portraying several iconic film moments throughout the short film. They also made sure to showcase Gus’s signature dance moves, while Bria Vanaite, from the indie breakout film “The Florida Project”, makes a memorable appearance at the end of the video.
