Hotel Arcana - new single «The Rash», EP «The Basement» out on 20.11.!

On their new single «The Rash», Hotel Arcana capture thoughts that refuse to fade («that itch, that rash»). The track is taken from their debut EP «The Basement», a six song journey through alternative rock, grunge and atmospheric post-punk. Raw riffs, shimmering melodies and introspective lyrics lead into an imagined inner world where memories, trauma and identity collide. Hotel Arcana isn’t a real place, it’s in our heads.

Step inside, and «The Basement» turns out to be a dark but liberating world. Each song stands for a room of the subconscious, filled with a story, a dream or a test. The EP moves between total disorientation and the fragile hope of a fresh start, playing with the balance of light and dark. In poetic, intimate lyrics, the band explores inner conflict, emotional wounds and a restless mind, turning vulnerability into creative strength. Sonically, Hotel Arcana blend the power of Wunderhorse with the melodic feel of Fontaines D.C.: heavy, distorted riffs meet shimmering, atmospheric guitar lines, while the vocals stay dark and haunting, lifted by harmonies that recall a grunge choir.
