IVORY Recalibrates With His Raw, Rowdy Early Sound With Hostile Yet Cinematic Riddim Single "RESET" via Bassrush Records

The Paris-based producer recalibrates with his old-school raw and rowdy sound with his follow-up single for the Bassrush crew.

Parisian bass heavyweight IVORY returns to Bassrush Records with “RESET,” a ruthless riddim single that snaps his sound back to its most primal state. Marking his fourth appearance on the imprint since last year, the release channels the raw aggression and uncompromising energy that first cemented IVORY as a force within dubstep’s upper echelon.

RESET” opens like a system boot sequence gone hostile. Cinematic sci-fi textures and blaring sirens establish an ominous atmosphere before a robotic vocal signals the hard reset protocol. From there, the track detonates into stomping sub-bass pressure, driven by screwy low-end leads, jarring squawks, and laser-laced sound design that feels engineered for maximum impact. It’s stripped of excess, honed for the pit—riddim in its most confrontational, no-frills form.

Speaking of his return to form on his latest single, IVORY says, “RESET’ isn’t just a song, it’s a return to my roots and a reminder of why I started making this kind of music in the first place.

The single follows the four-track ‘Steel Reign’ EP and last year’s “HIGH KNEES” single, both of which reinforced IVORY’s ongoing evolution while keeping his sound system roots intact. “HIGH KNEES” drew tastemaker support from HOL!, Samplifire, Illenium, Level Up, Kompany, DJ Diesel, and Dion Timmer, alongside media coverage from Dub Rebellion, Dubstep uNk, UFO Network, EKM, Find Your Sounds, Fresh Music Freaks, and Zona Emergente.

On the live front, IVORY continues to prove why his music thrives in high-pressure environments. Fresh off appearances at Apocalypse: Zombieland, BOO Seattle, and a run of late-night afters, his sets have leaned deeper into the heavy, emphasizing raw sonics and physical energy; the same instincts that power “RESET.”

Operating under the IVORY moniker since 2015, Andy Caboche has spent more than a decade bulldozing genre boundaries across dubstep’s many forms. From the Beatport-topping breakthrough of “Retro” to the interstellar ‘Dead Space’ EP, the chart-shaking “Moshpit,” and the ferocity of his ‘Bleep Bloop’ EP, his catalog reflects constant motion without losing its core identity. Recent years have only expanded that reach, with festival-defining moments like Lost Lands, Tomorrowland, and Bass Canyon.

With “RESET, IVORY makes a deliberate turn back toward the raw, heavy foundations that first defined his sound. The track cuts away experimentation in favor of direct impact, leaning into rigid rhythms, abrasive bass, and functional aggression built for the floor. It’s a statement of intent from a veteran who knows exactly what hits hardest—and isn’t afraid to double down on it.

IVORY’s new single “RESET” is available on all platforms via Bassrush Records.
