JahLight Records: Silent Cry Riddim

Trinidad and Tobago-based JahLight Records births its new collection of Gospel reggae gems on the Silent Cry Riddim, now available worldwide from all major digital retailers (released October 14, 2016), from FOX FUSE.

Helmed by producer Akeunde Pemberton, JahLight Records delivers four songs and a dub mix on the one-drop, roots reggae riddim compilation, which features local Gospel sensations Emrand Henry, Moses Henry, Dwayne Fyah and Matthew Greenidge.

“This project is geared towards those who are hurting silently, people in the world who are facing trials, problems and adversity, and for whatever reason, they will not share their pain with others,” states Pemberton. “They may smile on the outside but on the inside they wear a frown. The Silent Cry Riddim is here to inform those that there is someone that they can talk to and His name is Jesus Christ. God hears your every sigh and wants to dry your silent cries. We can reach out to Him in prayer.”
