JORJA SMITHJorja Smith today shares her new single 'I Lied, You Lied', the latest release from her forthcoming third album, 'What Are The Odds', which is out next Friday, 21 August, via FAMM.

A clear-eyed account of a relationship caught between attraction, dishonesty and emotional exhaustion, 'I Lied, You Lied' finds Jorja recognising the moment when a familiar cycle can no longer continue. She traces the push and pull of a connection defined by mixed messages and attempts at control, moving from frustration into certainty as she sees through the dynamic and chooses to leave it behind. Her writing balances defiance and vulnerability, capturing the contradiction of caring deeply while knowing that feeling alone is no longer enough.

Co-produced by P2J and Marco Bernardis, 'I Lied, You Lied' pairs electronic programming, piano and saxophone with sleek, understated production that keeps Jorja’s voice and storytelling firmly at its centre.

Out next Friday, 'What Are The Odds' marks a confident new chapter for Jorja. Drawing from UK Garage, Grime, 2-Step, UK Funky and House, the album expands her sound while retaining the intimacy and honesty at its centre. Created independently and instinctively with P2J, the record captures Jorja trusting her own pace, reconnecting with the joy of making music and moving forward without compromise.

Today’s single release follows Jorja’s recent run as special guest across all six of Harry Styles’ Mexico City shows on his 'Together, Together' tour. Performing at Estadio GNP Seguros between 31 July and 10 August, the six-show run saw Jorja bring her live show to audiences in Mexico City immediately ahead of her album release week.

In addition, 'What Are The Odds' will arrive on the same day that Jorja co-headlines All Points East in London’s Victoria Park alongside Tems. The wider line-up has been curated by Jorja and FAMM in collaboration with All Points East, bringing together artists including Nia Archives, kwn, Ayra Starr, Odeal, Westside Gunn, Uncle Waffles, DJ EZ, Maverick Sabre and Katy B, alongside a special one-off performance from Elmiene and The Sunday Service Choir.

The album arrives during a landmark year for Jorja, marking ten years since 'Blue Lights' first introduced her singular voice. Earlier this year, she celebrated the anniversary, contributed 'Price Of It All' to Riz Ahmed’s Prime Video series 'Bait', and performed during the debut season of 'Saturday Night Live UK'.
