Joshua Ali: “Blanket”

Trinidadian Gospel sensation Joshua Ali takes off with his new release “Blanket,” now available worldwide from all major digital retailers (released August 26, 2016), from FOX FUSE. Ali has orchestrated a signature sound that fuses Caribbean soca flavors with contemporary and traditional Gospel sentiments, molding all into a niche genre he terms alternative Gospel.

Ali shares profound sentiments on this new Gospel gem, singing of how we can receive comfort during troubled times by pulling the “blanket” of God over ourselves. “Praise be to God, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God,” states Ali. The uplifting song was written by Ali, Brandon Best and Marvin Thomas, with production handled by Ato K. Williams.
