Keep Dancing Inc releases A Taste Of Possibility

Keep Dancing Inc. will release their second album, 'A Taste of Possibility', on January 19, 2024, via V2 Records, earlier than the initially scheduled date of January 26. The album encompasses everything from folk-pop ballads to dance floor fillers and post-punk anthems. The genres are as diverse as the themes, touching on the departure of a former band member, modern slavery, false rebellion, and prevalent hay fever.

The story of Keep Dancing Inc. began in 2015 when Louis and a friend formed a band to emulate their idols Arcade Fire, LCD Soundsystem, and New Order, creating rock music infused with electro elements. The friend left the band in 2019, and Gabrielle and Joseph joined. This marked the final lineup for KDI: Louis writes most of the songs, plays guitar, and handles vocals. Joseph takes care of the bass and is also responsible for the synthesizer. The trio is completed by Gabrielle on drums, and she is also featured as a vocalist on KDI's latest single, 'Can't Get You Out Of My Head.'

'A Taste of Possibility' represents the carefree, mature evolution of 'Embrace,' KDI's first album. The band has expanded its sound and ventured into exploring new genres. Whether it's the funk of the title track 'A Taste of Possibility,' synthpop in 'Chinese Town,' folk guitar in 'You're My Healthiest Addiction,' or the 2-step in 'GPS,' there's a wide range of musical exploration. Textually, there is a similar diversity. While 'Tell Me Again' tells the story of a band member's departure, 'Murders Mourns Again' addresses modern slavery and the extraction of coltan, which has become indispensable for our modern communication technology.
