Kid Wave join Heavenly Recordings

In what is proving to be a vintage period for Heavenly Recordings, London based Kid Wave are the label’s latest additions. Signing to the label earlier this year, they release their Rory Atwell produced debut single, All I Want on Monday 8th September 2014. Recorded at Lightship 95 and mixed by Dan Austin, it also features the B-side Young Blood.

Kid Wave started out in 2011 as a recording and writing project for Lea Emmery when she moved to London from the East coast of Sweden. She was joined in 2013 by Serra Patale, originally from Perth in Australia, Londoner Harry Deacon and Mattias Batt, who hails from the same town in Sweden as Lea.

The band, who have been playing the occasional show around London, including a recent sell out at the Social, over the last few months while guitarist Mattias makes the move from Sweden, are set to play with Childhood in London in and on their October tour and appear at the ‘On Blackheath’ festival in September.
