At the end of last year, indie bedroom-folkpop duo Kids With Buns crowned themselves winners of 'De Nieuwe Lichting'. The annual music contest of Belgian national radio station Studio Brussel. On Friday 12 February 2021, during #deweekvandebelgischemuziek, the official music video for the song 'bad grades', with which they won De Nieuwe Lichting, premiered via the online media channels of weekly magazine HUMO.

'bad grades' is about not being understood, and the poor performance that can result from that. People judge you on those performances, while you as a person are much more than those performances. The clip, which was shot during the pandemic in full compliance with the regulations, involved 35 technicians, dancers and volunteers!
