La Favi celebrates 2022 Latin GRAMMY win with new single "En Secreto"

Hot off the heels of her Latin GRAMMY win as a songwriter on the Best Band Album “Abeja Reina” by Chiquis, La Favi returns to Dim Mak En Fuego with “En Secreto.”

The single combines a fierce Reggaeton rave beat with her sensual lyricism. La Favi recorded the single with producer Ulises El Licenciado Lozano, and debuted it in Las Vegas with Steve Aoki during Latin GRAMMY week. That week proved to be pivotal for La Favi, she also learned her same Latin GRAMMY winning track was also nominated for a GRAMMY. She also performed at the Remezcla Listening Sessions, where she previewed “En Secreto,” as well a new record from the album to a select of industry invites with great audience reaction.

The video captures La Favi in Las Vegas, where she celebrated alongside other Latin GRAMMY winners, with her first win as a songwriter, and performing alongside Steve Aoki.

La Favi touches on the track’s unique sounds and says; “I think it [En Secreto] captures my influences, I’m happy to have the freedom to create without being limited, it’s amazing to hear our Rave Reggaeton sounds in the party in Spanish and Spanglish, because I remember when people told me that wouldn’t be possible...the message of “En Secreto” is not to kiss and tell because there's a double standard, right? Sometimes we have to do things in secret...”

La Favi is set to play at Austin’s upcoming Boiler Room show on December 10th. Hosted by the local Perreo Club collective, artists including Berrakka, DJ Tao b2b Alan Gomez, Isabelle Lovestory, Kaleb Di Masi, MS NINA, and more will be performing alongside La Favi.
