Lemar launches new single ‘Higher Love’!

Lemar launches new single ‘Higher Love', the third single to be taken from his new album ‘The Letter’. ‘Higher Love’ is a brand new track and sees Lemar deliver his instantly recognisable soulful vocals across a timelessly upbeat track. The song was produced, along with the rest of the album, by the legendary Larry Klein. Listen to ‘Higher Love’ here

Lemar on ‘Higher Love’: "It is a classic soul track, full of shifting optimism and joy in its message and we all need as much as we can of that in life! Jerry Hey did a great job arranging and recording it, particularly the very uplifting horn section which plays a big part in the song. I really enjoyed recording it and my hope for it as one of the original songs on the record is that it stands up with the more established songs on the album."

Lemar’s new album ‘The Letter’, out now via BMG, is a collection of eleven soul songs recorded live at Los Angeles’ world-renowned EastWest Studios – where Frank Sinatra recorded ‘My Way’. Showcasing Lemar’s distinctive and versatile vocals, the album’s tracklisting was carefully chosen by Lemar and combines new renditions of soul classics as well as original tracks, such as ‘Higher Love’.

Lemar joins Will Young as his special guest across his 23-date tour of the UK and Ireland, which takes place throughout November.
