Listen to Alle Farben & Janieck – Little Hollywood

Two-time Echo & 1Live Krone-nominated artist, Alle Farben, who has sold over 1.5 million records in the last three years and maintained a spot in the German Airplay Charts for 103 weeks, delivers his new hit single “Little Hollywood” right in time for this spring and summer season. With lyrics that read, “we’re living in our own little Hollywood, we’re washed up stars, everything’s gon’ be good”, who would’ve expected any differently?

After last year’s platinum & gold singles “Please Tell Rosie” & “Bad Ideas” (Airplay No. 1 in Germany) Frans Zimmer is back with another meaningful track. The composition details a lifestyle à la Hollywood with a man finding himself in his own cosmos while getting notably cast in stone. The philosophy of the song connects straight to the mindset of the Berlin based DJ and producer, who also, as usual, about to play over 100 shows around the world in 2017. With the cooperation of Janieck, a singer-songwriter from the Netherlands, who recently collaborated with Lost Frequencies, is also bearing its fruits.

Who needs an expensive lifestyle and fancy cars to be happy? Since the enjoyment of life comes from having a good time with friends and nothing more, “We got everything we need in our neighborhood” are lyrics that entail a carefree essence and way of life that is clearly shared in Little Hollywood.

With an intro that begins from far, the ride to “Little Hollywood“ is just getting started. Present, as well as familiar, Janieck’s voice begins to twine around the pulsating kick drum. The gently tangible bass represents a true benefit for the passage. “Remember Jimmy’s pick-up, drunk-driving in the dark. If I think about it now, we didn’t think at all”, pays homage to the thoughtless days of youth, stocked with a breeze of rebellion and discovery speaking through.

The catchy guitar chords, groovy percussions and sweeping fills support the structure right on point. With a solid melody made of punchy drums and a delightful shape of the harmonic instruments, the arrangement evolves further during the second verse. After kicking off the brass section, the song harnesses its full hit potential. Who doesn’t want to know where everything is leading to is definitely right – “I don’t wanna know where it’s gonna go, it’s crazy living this life.“

With an original music video of a road trip to Hollywood, the visual puzzle forms itself into the song when all of the components for the trip are brought together. Get in and come along to “Little Hollywood”! After "She Moves (Far Away) (feat. Graham Candy)" (2014), "Supergirl (feat. Anna Naklab & YOUNOTUS)" (2015) and "Please Tell Rosie (feat. YOUNOTUS)" & "Bad Ideas" (2016) the single aims to break the success of its predecessors.
