Dams of the West have also confirmed their first-ever US tour for this Spring, in support of Black Joe Lewis. The itinerary also includes a stop in Austin for SXSW.

Dams of the West's debut album 'Youngish American' is out February 24 on 30th Century Records/Columbia. Produced by Pat Carney of the Black Keys, the album grapples with early-30s ennui and offers casually cutting takes on aging and domesticity. Brooklyn Magazine called him, "on par with Courtney Barnett and Kurt Vile in the ranks of our most affable, self-aware observers," and Fader and NPR have also come on board early with raves.
