Of the song, Mackenzy says: ”The song is about having a distance between you and your other half. It always sucks being far away from the one you love but there are ways to make it suck a little less I guess. Playing shows in all these amazing places for amazing people - I absolutely love that, however the downside is being away from home, but knowing it’ll all be okay in the end when I get home and get to see the one I’ve been missing. There’s nothing better than that feeling.”
