In Milow’s own words: “I wrote “Better or Worse” at the end of August, so only two months ago. On the surface, it’s about standing by someone you care about — being patient, forgiving, and sticking around even when life gets messy. But there’s another layer: it’s also a gentle reminder to stay true to yourself, to hold on to your values and kindness, even when the world feels chaotic. As a songwriter, it’s easy to feel a bit powerless these days. With so much violence and hate out there, you sometimes wonder if a song can really make a difference. And yet, here I am, still writing — hoping it might make someone smile, think, or just feel a little less alone.
