Mixtape out now: Caballero & JeanJass "High & Fines Herbes"

Caballero & JeanJass are the most representative duo of the explosion of the Belgian rap scene. They have been releasing a successful trilogy of Double Hélice albums since 2016 and are now back with a new project: the long-awaited season 3 of High & Fines Herbes, a mixtape under the same label and a recipe book.

CABALLERO & JEANJASS THE MIXTAPE

High & Fines Herbes, the mixtape, is the fourth project of Caballero & JeanJass. It comes after the successful trilogy of Double Hélice albums. The mixtape is composed of 25 tracks. These were recorded with a long guest list, in the same spirit as the show. This project stands out from Caballero & JeanJass’ previous albums by its singularity in the ecosystem of the French rap scene.

High & Fines Herbes features the humour and extravagance of the rapping duo spiced up by the singularities of each guest: the self‐mockery of ICO, Mister V or Lorenzo, the explosiveness of Youv Dee’s verses, the efficiency of Rim’K, or the authenticity of Bigflo & Oli...

Available on all streaming platforms as from April 10, 2020. The physical release will follow Mai 8th.

CABALLERO & JEANJASS THE SERIES

As an extension of the speeches conveyed in their songs and on their networks, Caballero & JeanJass launched the High & Fines Herbes series in 2017. Season 1, broadcast on YouTube, initiated the concept: the duo welcomes guests to discuss, play, laugh and cook with cannabis as a central element. Following the success of season 1, a second part was filmed and broadcast on VICELAND.

2020 sees the long-awaited season 3 of High & Fines Herbes!

For its third season, the series evolves and becomes the first European reality show on cannabis. Embodied by the new French speaking rap music scene, High & Fines Herbes is a UFO : a mix between a reality TV show, a competition show and a cooking show. Each episode lasts about thirty minutes and is broadcast on YouTube. The third season of High & Fines Herbes will feature events where guests will compete against each other throughout the week. This competition will elect the Golden Lung 2020. Filmed in a villa on the outskirts of Barcelona, this season is directed by Romain Moriconi and produced by HK Corp. As the episodes go by, exclusive guests make appearances to liven up the events or participate in the preparation of the final meal.

CABALLERO & JEANJASS THE RECIPE BOOK

Caballero & JeanJass wanted to take the High & Fines Herbes concept to the end by designing an exclusive recipe book. Comprising almost 40 recipes (5 starters, 19 main courses and 14 desserts), the book is created by Jean-Baptiste Bonhomme, High & Fines Herbes’ official seasonal cook. The photographs present the dishes in an original way with Canabidian decorations referring to the series. The cookbook is available only in exclusive packs sold on cabajj.shop.
