Mount Turmoil announce debut album "Peak Living"; artwork and tracklist revealed

Dutch alternative rock outfit MOUNT TURMOIL have announced the release of their debut full-length album, Peak Living, due on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, as a self-released digital release.

With the album now officially unveiled, the band are also revealing the cover artwork and full tracklist, giving listeners a first in-depth look at what promises to be a diverse and emotionally charged record.

Peak Living moves confidently across multiple shades of alternative rock, blending grunge-driven intensity, heavier metallic moments, stoner-infused grooves, Britpop sensibility, and even punk-leaning urgency, all while maintaining the band’s own unmistakable identity. Across the ten tracks, MOUNT TURMOIL balance weight and melody with a strong focus on memorable songwriting, instantly singable hooks, and rich vocal harmonies. The album’s diversity is further highlighted by unexpected details such as the bağlama, also known as the saz, a Turkish string instrument featured on the second track, “Straight To The Bottom.”
