'New Company' EP Out Now

I am so excited to share my New Company EP with you, out now! It was a pleasure collaborating with David Park, Martha and the Muffins, Mike Schlosser, and Alex Exists, who all reimagined my song “New Company” with their own special touch. In his words, “I wanted to try and totally change the feeling of the track while holding onto the best part - Sam’s vocals. The original is a slower, soulful ballad, so instead I went for an uptempo groove. People seem to love when I put on the composer hat and use more traditional sounds, so I did some of that with strings and piano, but kept it jazzy and modern with swirling chords, tight drums, and a groovy bass line.”

Sometimes you want new company, but aren’t ready for it. Sometimes you are.
