New Subbacultcha Magazine "The Art Issues" is out now

This month Subbacultcha! steps away from the sonic arts to celebrate their visual equivalent. From photography, to illustration and comics: young art spaces around the country curated this very special issue, selecting Belgian and Dutch talent.

KOP vzw picked out El Neoray's outspoken and absurd illustrations, that make you think about things you didn't think about. Soscastoa selected the mesmerizing black and white pictures of Thomas Vandenberghe. With his 'Black Diary' series, he captures the moments symbolizing dark periods, quests, pitfalls and all those times he ran away.

Brussels gallery Hectoliter is fond of Marc van Elburg's work, that is built around series of actions, resulting in extreme disharmony, stagnation or endless repetition. Street Art Belgium pointed out that Telmo & Miel are on top of their game with their photorealistic muralism, abstract cuts and exquisite colour palette.

Topo Copy tells us how Liesbeth De Stercke once had a cathartic experience regarding apples. Ever since, she makes ridiculously beautiful and detailed drawings. And we dared to leave our office to say hi to Brussels based Canadian artist Zin Taylor.
