Nostalgix flaunts her sassy production prowess with new Supah Fly EP
Bass house’s queen bee Nostalgix is back to share her Supah Fly EP, with final single “Party All Night (ft. Chi City),” the last track to wrap up the powerhouse trio of new tunes. Nostalgix uses her undeniable ability to pack the bass, hard-hitting beats, and punchy grooves to showcase the best of her sound as she closes out a monumental year.
Looking ahead to an even more pivotal 2023, Nostalgix just announced her biggest ever headlining tour, with shows in Los Angeles, San Diego, Seattle, Chicago and more.
“I'm so thrilled to share my new EP 'Supah Fly' with you. With this project, I wanted to capture the energy and fun of what it's like being at a festival or a show.
Last year I was touring for the first time in my life and doing the craziest performances. It inspired me to experiment with my sound and create more high-energy records that embodied the lifestyle that I was living. I worked with other incredible artists such as Michael Sparks, Lano Bandz, and Chi City to bring the songs to life.
Supah Fly is all about having the time of your life, not giving a f*ck what anyone thinks, and being bad as hell.” - Nostalgix
Previous EP singles “Options” featuring Lano Bandz and the EP’s title track “Supah Fly” show off a harder side to Nostalgix’s productions, and her true artistic growth over the past year. Gix has a knack for captivating her fans - both in connecting with them through her releases and socials at home, and while DJing for a crowd. Her magnetic energy and sassy swagger is palpable, it’s clear Nostalgix has star power.
2022 was a pivotal year for Nostalgix, with releases including “Heat Rush” featuring Dyer on Deadbeats and “My Type” on Night Bass, after having kicked off the year with “Snitches” on the Confession x Night Bass compilation, and “Ghost” with Dr. Fresch. She joined Tchami AC Slater’s Confession vs Night Bass tour, ARMNHMR Waiting For Love Tour, Bijou’s Unlocked Tour, Destructo’s ‘F With Me Tour, and most recently she supported Malaa on his Don Malaa tour in Salt Lake City, Albuquerque and Seattle.
In May, she was among only a handful of female acts to ever play the mainstage at EDC Las Vegas, and her and Wenzday were the first female acts to perform at the Circuit Grounds stage at EDC Orlando in November of 2021. Shattering glass ceilings and speakers all around, Nostalgix is an unstoppable artist in today’s dance scene.
