Nostalgix & Rose Motion bring the heat with fiery collaboration “By Myself”

Nostalgix and Rose Motion have brought their unique soundscapes together to produce “By Myself,” out now on Tchami’s Confession imprint.

“By Myself” brings us back to those distant dancefloor memories, capturing us with hypnotic beats and a fun bass house flair. The power of the song is translated beautifully through the vocals, expressing the empowerment you feel when truly doing things for yourself.

Nostalgix is a Vancouver native who has built her music career from the bottom-up. With a steady trajectory starting from teaching herself to mix in her college dorm, all the way up to being signed by dream labels and playing festivals, she has now gained recognition from tastemakers all over the world, releasing songs on established labels such as Dim Mak, Night Bass, In/Rotation, and more. To add to her already stacked portfolio, house producer BIJOU hand selected Nostalgix to be the premiere on his new label DND Records. Listed by DJ Mag as one of “12 Emerging Artists” in February, Nostalgix’s career looks bright.

Rose Motion is an electronic duo composed of Australian native Jamie-Rose and Canadian Malikai Motion. The two aspiring artists each had solo projects geared more towards a hip-hop and R&B style, but after meeting at a recent music workshop, their mutual love for deep house has evolved into a project even bigger than they expected.
