DJ Tennis & M-High Join For New Single "Cold Hands"

DJ Tennis and M-High come together today for “Cold Hands,” a new collaborative single out now via Life and Death.

Drawing on new wave influences, the pair take the track through different corners of club music across three versions, with DJ Tennis taking an unusually personal role by providing his own vocals. The Italo Mix is a woozy, euphoric take built around glowing synths. The Electro Mix scales the track up for larger rooms, while the House Flip pushes it into punchier, tech house territory.

“Cold Hands” also continues M-High’s growing relationship with Life and Death. Earlier this year, the Dutch producer made his debut on the label with the four-track Dark Web Pinger EP, adding to a run that has seen his groove-focused productions climb Beatport charts and earn consistent support from BBC Radio 1 and DJs including Chris Stussy, Marlon Hoffstadt and KETTAMA.

For DJ Tennis, the release follows the sweltering June single “Misbehave” and arrives during Life and Death’s 15th anniversary year. Founded by Tennis, born Manfredi Romano, the label has spent the past decade and a half building a catalog around an intentionally broad view of underground electronic music, with melody, vocals, and genre crossover remaining central to its identity.

Bringing the label’s founder together with one of its newest artists, “Cold Hands” connects that history with its current generation while giving Tennis’s own voice an uncommon place at the center of the music.
