Porches Releases new track “Patience" - Album Ricky Music out March 13
From his forthcoming new album Ricky Music, due out March 13, Porches a.k.a. Aaron Maine has shared a new track, album opener “Patience”. It comes alongside a video directed by frequent Porches collaborator Nick Harwood, who also directed the video for Porches’ previous single, “Do U Wanna”.
Maine says, “Patience feels like holding hands jumping out of a tree, and all you can do is laugh at the mess you’ve gotten yourselves into, while the two of you spiral towards the grass in a beautiful sunset.”
Last week, Maine shared a live version of “Do U Wanna”, accompanied a live band. Watch it HERE.
Featuring contributions from Dev Hynes, Zsela, and with co-production by Jacob Portrait, Ricky Music expands on the Porches discography (The House, 2018; Pool, 2016; Slow Dance In The Cosmos, 2013) by delivering 11 emotionally open, cracked-glass pop songs. According to VICE, Ricky Music is “his strongest collection yet.”
