Portuguese prog trio unveils debut album "In Search of Being" this June

Portuguese progressive metal band Phase Transition will release their debut album, In Search of Being, on June 6, 2025. After making their mark on some of the biggest Iberian stages, Phase Transition is gearing up to release their debut album, In Search of Being, on June 6, 2025. Their earlier EP didn’t escape the attention of the editors at Prog Magazine, and now the band is ready to take their music even further with this ambitious first full-length release.

The first single, Becoming, (R)evolution, drops on February 4. The track captures the rebellious spirit and thrill of youth, driven by intricate guitar work and dynamic violin solos that highlight the band’s evolution. Fronted by a versatile female vocalist and violinist whose range and delivery bring both power and emotion to their sound, Phase Transition seamlessly combines modern production with symphonic and groove-filled prog metal.
