If you like Sufjan Stevens, Andy Shauf and Nick Drake, as well as Radiohead and french folk legend Francis Cabrel, you're in for a real treat!

One motto sums up Queen Willow's intention: simplicity and sobriety! Modern folk, with a simple, uncluttered production. There's a great deal of finesse and beauty to the project, thanks to the combination of guitar and piano, while the minimalist rhythm section allows for both beautiful flights of fancy and catchy phases! The artistic direction is complemented by the creation of a disillusioned, childlike imagery, a celebration of the cardboard DIY dear to Michel Gondry, as the music videos for "above the clouds", "les heures sombres" and "the rabbit song" can attest! This imagery echoes a repertoire conceived as a collection of tales metaphorizing the excesses of humanity and the future of a deranged planet. And Léo Doublé's velvety, Chet Baker-like voice seems to soften the sometimes heavy themes of the writing, in a brilliantly melancholy and light-hearted whole.
