Regrowth release “A Story Worth Listening To”, a new album giving voice to a generation on the verge of collapse
Regrowth, a metalcore/melodic hardcore band formed in 2016 and now one of the most tireless and distinctive names in the Italian new wave, release their highly anticipated second full-length: “A Story Worth Listening To.”
An album that is far more than a collection of songs — it is a generational manifesto: eleven interconnected tracks tracing the exhaustion, disillusionment, and anger of Millennials facing a world that seems to crumble piece by piece.

War, climate crisis, pollution, exploitation of humans and animals, social injustice: A Story Worth Listening To moves through real or symbolic pre-apocalyptic scenarios in which listeners are challenged to question who the “villain of the story” truly is.
Unlike their previous full-length Lungs, a more introspective and personal work, here the band looks outward and transforms its unease into a collective protest, a cry belonging to anyone who recognizes themselves in a fragile present and an increasingly uncertain future.
Musically, the album is a fierce and melancholic chimera: a journey through melodic hardcore, screamo, 2010s-influenced metalcore, and all the sounds that shaped the band’s identity.
These new sonic textures are the result of years of experimentation and the series of singles released between 2023 and 2024 (Fragment, Cover Me With Flames, Against Me) that allowed the band to refine every detail.
“A Story Worth Listening To” was recorded and mixed by Lorenzo Mariani at Overcore Studio, while mastering was handled by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege Studio in Portland — known for working with some of the most influential names in metal and hardcore.
The album’s graphic concept was created by Sebastian Mocci, while the videos accompanying the singles were directed and produced by Marco Camarda and Paolo Angelo Loi, building a vivid and atmospheric pre-apocalyptic visual identity.
