Rex Rebel shares single and video for 'Body'

“Body” is the new single by Rex Rebel. Sam Bettens recently came out as a transgender man after a highly successful career as the face and voice of K's Choice. Rex Rebel is a high-profile, trendy, and open-minded band in the Belgian electronic music scene, made up of Sam Bettens, Reinout Swinnen and Wim Van der Westen. Sam has been going through life as a transgender man for a few years now, after a more than bountiful career as the face and voice of K's Choice. Rex Rebel sounds tremendously playful, catchy, poppy, and danceable. Bass, keys, drums, and a voice in transition... A combination that sharpens everyone's curiosity.

Top singles "Big Shot", "Big Boy", "Freedom" (George Michael cover) and the debut album "Run" were released in early 2020. In February of that year the band was to begin its first series of live concerts when corona grabbed the concert world by the throat. You couldn't imagine a worse scenario, but Rex Rebel is back!
