RIOT Returns To Gud Vibrations To Release Highly Acclaimed ‘The Machine’ (Remixes) Album

 DJ duo RIOT come back to Gud Vibrations to release the official reimagined version of their latest album. The 11-track 'The Machine' (Remixes) album, features takes from a host of boundary-pushing bass artists including Afinity, Dodge & Fuski, Hi I'm Ghost, CELO, Jacknife, VLCN, OSSIEN, Dirty Monkey, Hekler, Baclash.

LA-based RIOT is a producer duo causing a ruckus in bass music with their fusion of heavy-hitting dubstep and face-melting metal. They showcased this lethal combination, alongside their cinematic, world-building skills via their sophomore album 'The Machine,' a 15-track LP released via NGHTMRE and SLANDER's Gud Vibrations last August.

Dutch-born, Barcelona-based producer SPAG (the dubstep veteran formerly known as Spag Heddy) is stepping up with a rework of the lead single "Try Again." The horn melodies and assertive hip-hop vocals are reimagined at a slower tempo, unfolding across a futuristic, glitch-fueled groove built on choppy mid-bass, laser-like textures, call-and-response vocal chops, swinging rhythms, and intricate sound design.The project begins with Afinity’s reimagined version of “Back To Back” where his melodic and future bass sounds blend with RIOT’s heavy track to bring the single to an euphoric vocal-driven production.

The record then transitions into Dodge & Fuski’s rendition of “Everynight,” delivering a diverse dubstep experience packed with intense synths and energetic production. Taking the single to an entirely new dimension, Hi I'm Ghost adds a monstrous beat into the fourth track, a reimagined rendition of “Hurricane” that effectively builds up the energy. The compilation moves forward with CELO’s remix of “Click Clack,” a dynamic track transitioning from hip-hop rhythms to heavy synths. The sixth track of the album is Jacknife’s version of “Deadshot,” adding his wobbly sound and merging it with the track’s heavy dubstep energy. VLCN follows up with a reimagined take on “March of the Machine,” crafting an atmospheric illusion through modulating bass frequencies and intricate vocal chops.

OSSIEN adds his rendition of “Alien Threat” to the project, delivering futuristic, hard-hitting bass that gives the audience an out-of-space experience. The ninth track of the record is The ninth track is Dirt Monkey's remix of “Get Down,” which showcases his signature cutting-edge style layered over rhythmic drumming arrangements. Next up is Hekler’s rendition of “Nebula,” where the driving percussion breathes life into the track as it builds into an energetic, laser-like bassline that accompanies the vocals. The album draws to a close with Baclash’s remix of “Slide,” a production that blends halftime beats and rap rhythms to power its high-energy drops.

RIOT’s original track of “Try Again” pulled in more than 633.6k streams, while the full album drew support from prominent global media outlets. RIOT is currently embarking on their 30-stop 'The Machine' World Tour, including stops at Nocturnal Wonderland, Electric Forest, Lost Lands, Blacklist Festival, We All Scream, KN?WHERE Festival, and headline shows at Club Vinyl, Aura Nightclub, Rabbit Hole, Bass Station, Hi-Fi, Bomb Factory, Q Nightclub, Garage 888, The Meadows.
