Rock In Vienna - Further bands announced

„ROCK IN VIENNA“, Vienna’s first rock festival, will shake the summer of 2015 with harder sounds instead of classical music and brings you a brilliant 3-day rock party on Vienna’s Danube Island from June 4 to 6, 2015. Following up the artists that have already been announced, three more bands have been confirmed! Let s welcome: Turbonegro, BABYMETAL, and Hellyeah!

From June 4 to 6, 2015, the music capital Vienna turns into the Mecca of Rock! Catchy lyrics combined with talented techniques, red-hot amps, fantastic rock classics and expressive front vocals will give you 3 days of top-notch music and lots of rock’n’roll on the Danube Island!

“ROCK IN VIENNA” invites all to come and headbang, offering 2 open air stages in the middle of the city, with ideal transport connections. Headlining the event are no less than MUSE, METALLICA and KISS!

As of today, 3 further bands can be confirmed: Turbonegro, BABYMETAL, and Hellyeah have joined the line-up!

Turbonegro don’t only look like they’ve been going bananas, their songs also sound like it. Their programm will bring you a show between snot and glamour, with lots of sing-along hymns. On that note: Get the cobra out of your ass and party with the animals!

In keeping with the motto “Cute meets Metal”, the three cute Japanese ladies also known as BABYMETAL bring a completely new style into the hardrock scene. In their show, they wow their audience not only with a fantastic mixture of “kawaii metal” but foremost by extraordinary dance numbers, punk lolita outfits and loads of cool lighting effects.

Hellyeah is not simply the name of a band, it is a lifestyle. Former Mudvayne lead singer, Nothingface guitarist, Kyle Sanders and the former drummer of Pantera and Damageplan, have joined forces to bring the world’s ultimate heavy metal superband to live. They will rock the Danube Island with their smoky voice, bombastic riffs and hard beats.
