Sarah Maison – New Single & Music Video 'Exister'

Sarah Maison unveils “Exister”, a blazing new single available since June 25th on Capitane Records. A rock-driven, dreamlike, and fiercely engaged track, announcing the release of her debut album DIVAD, set for September 19, 2025.

With its hypnotic rhythm and sharp guitars, “Exister” is a poetic outcry against neoliberal excesses, an ode to nature, and a heartfelt plea in a society running overheated.

Sarah embodies an immobile tree amidst the cityscape, quietly witnessing the frenzy of our times. She questions our desires, our relationship to time, productivity, and what truly matters.

Inspired as much by The Kinks, Al Massrieen, as by Jodorowsky’s hallucinatory universe, she delivers here a manifesto-like song - organic, fiery, at the crossroads of fable and pamphlet.

The track is accompanied by a music video directed by Diane Sagnier, blending dreamlike imagery with pastel dystopia.

In it, Sarah appears amid a childlike setting filled with Polly Pockets, pop objects, and quirky, offbeat scenes.

The contrast between the visual softness and the tension of the message strengthens the statement: our world is in trouble, but there’s still room to laugh bitterly - and even dance to it.

The track was written, composed, and arranged by Sarah Maison, then recorded by Steve Surmely (Studio Pipo). It follows in the footsteps of her very first single, Western Arabisant, while further exploring the artist’s rock and rebellious side.
