Scarlet House - Homecoming out Friday

Making waves in the alternative music scene since 2021, Scarlet House will release his first mixtape, Homecoming on November 22nd. The thirteen song release features three new tracks (“Blind,” “Set Me Free”, “Let Go”) and nine previously released, all self-recorded and produced with mastering by Nick Townsend. Blending a variety of musical influences, from the dark allure of Deftones and The Cure to Nirvana's grunge legacy to the modern rap and R&B styles of acts like Frank Ocean and Destroy Lonely, Scarlet House has crafted a sound that is both nostalgic and unique. Across the record, you’ll hear heavy guitars and grungy riffs alongside humming shoegaze and modern beats, all lifted by Scarlet House’s moody, soaring vocals.

At 25, Scarlet House has transformed his life experiences, including a battle with Stage 2 diffuse large B cell lymphoma and a childhood of homelessness, into a compelling musical narrative. As an independent artist, Scarlet House has garnered a dedicated social media following and currently sits at nearly one million monthly listeners on Spotify alone, with singles “Slowing Down” and “Ghosts” each boasting 12 million streams on the platform.
