Shapeshifting production trio Farveblind share kinetic album title track, debut album 'Micro Pleasures' out 15th May

European tour dates this February (with ROMES), follows showcases at Roskilde, Reeperbahn and Eurosonic - establishing Farveblind as one of Europe’s most thrilling live forces. Copenhagen trio Farveblind have shared the title track from their hotly anticipated debut album 'Micro Pleasures', out 15th May.

Produced by Farveblind and mixed by Swedish engineer Gustav Brunn (whose credits include work with Yung Lean and Viagra Boys), Farveblind's debut album features a cast of contributors and guest vocalists including Django Django, k.flay, Elliphant, USERS, Foreign Air and Emmeline.

With sonic touchstones ranging from Battles and The Chemical Brothers to Underworld and Viagra Boys, Farveblind's forthcoming debut album 'Micro Pleasures' pulls together punk volatility, industrial precision, rave nostalgia and widescreen electronic drama into the same gravitational field.

New single and album title track 'Micro Pleasures' is built on pounding four-on-the-floor rhythms, driving bass lines, and sweeping, floating strings, echoing the raw physicality of a late-90s club era. The track also features in new film Shelter (released today), starring Jason Statham, soundtracking a pivotal club sequence.

Featuring Copenhagen artist Sebastian Monti, the song cuts at ego, entitlement, and the urge to fit neatly into ready-made boxes, where meaning is reduced to small, fleeting moments.

On the song, guest vocalist Sebastian Monti shared: “It’s the anger towards ego idiots fitting nicely into boxes this capitalistic society made for them and then feeling unique and entitled. Just live and let others live. No-one cares about any single thing anymore. It's all about surviving.”

The new single follows recent singles ‘Natural Behaviour’ – a shadowy, skittering cut featuring London vocalist Emmeline – ‘Salary Man’, an acid-techno/punk treatise on office-culture monotony featuring USERS’ Sean Michael Seldorf Flaherty, and ‘Battle Lady-Like’, a feverish clash of noise and emotion with vocals from Foreign Air’s Jesse Clasen – all set to appear on Micro Pleasures.

The Danish trio have been quietly building toward this moment in recent years - with a host of EPs and singles already under their belts. The collaborators on 'Micro Pleasures' reflect relationships built over that time, choosing to work with people they’d connected with naturally through touring, festivals and shared scenes. Each contribution comes from a place of curiosity and trust, fitting into the album’s wider tone without changing its centre of gravity.

On the forthcoming album, Farveblind said:

"'Micro Pleasures' is an ode to the small glimpses of happiness you find in the otherwise oppressive mundanity of modern life. It explores how fleeting everyday joys can act as both coping mechanisms and subtle forms of resistance. The album is a collage of work with a lot of very exciting people. It allowed us to tap into genres and energies that wouldn't have been otherwise unavailable to us."

Known for blurring the line between live chaos and club ecstasy, Farveblind’s performances have lit up festivals including Roskilde, Reeperbahn and Eurosonic in recent months, earning them a reputation as one of Europe’s most vital new acts. With the release of their debut album, the trio are sure to cement themselves as one of the most thrilling forces emerging from Copenhagen’s electronic underground.
