Shuffle Premiere New Video, New Album Announced!

French alternative progressive metal & rock outfit Shuffle premiere the brand new track and video Faded Chalk Lines from the new album #WontTheyFade? which will be released on November 23, 2018 via Klonosphere/ Season of Mist

The band explains: "With this new album, SHUFFLE goes even further in its musical exploration. Thanks to the experience acquired in recent years, our universe is more assumed, more explosive and brutal but also more astral and soaring. The objective? Take you to new horizons, change your persuasion, make you travel through our music, far from fashions, codes and times. We tell our personal experiences, we ask our questions about this world and its future in order to make people react, or even shock them. But the listener is not only an observer, he is himself an actor and makes his own opinion on things.

The texts reflect in a way what we experience, through our networks, real and virtual, our relationships, our exchanges, our encounters: love, joy, compassion but also anger, hatred, contempt. A sweet and vitamin-rich cocktail, telling a melancholic but very beautiful story. To make this original recipe captivate you, we put all our heart, our fears and sorrows, all our enthusiasm, our love, our thirst for discovery and our frenzy into it.

For the artwork, we collaborated with Lucie Cros, a great artist and friend who managed to understand and illustrate our music and its different atmospheres."

Hailing from Le Mans, Shuffle units a variety of influences ranging from Progressive Rock in the vein of Porcupine Tree to the Rap-Rock/Metal of the 1990's with influences from Rage Against The Machine

Shuffle is, above all, an extraordinary artistic adventure, putting its exploration of genres at the service of compositions that capture the moment and inspiration to transform them into a visceral experience. The group owes this exploration to its multiple roots, whether they come from rock, electro or hip-hop. Since their debut Upon The Hill (2015), an album of incredible powers of seduction and sound, Shuffle have injected their aerial ambiences into a flood of dreadful riffs, going straight to the point to travel to the heart of bright celestial layers.

About 200 live shows in France and abroad, Shuffle are a vigour that unfolds as you listen and experience, an unquenchable inspiration. Shuffle are a band that exults as soon as fate lifts them off to new musical horizons. Amon others, they shared stage with Tricky and ShakaPonk. Shuffle is a band that dwells between melancholy and anger, between nostalgia and catharsis.

While waiting for a second album, #WontTheyFade?, scheduled for the fall of 2018, Shuffle remain an infallible musical vessel, crossing the heat of solar stars and melodic meteor storms carrying their share of galaxies and black holes where the field of possibilities opens up. #WontTheyFade?
