Sleemo, to release The Dog Remixes

After the release of two new singles in winter 2022, Norwich based trio, Sleemo, have partnered up with local producer/rapper ebbuku, and half of the Mancunian sibling duo Slap Rash to release The Dog Remixes. Both collaborators have tried their hand at reimagining Sleemo’s Dog, with the results set for release on 10th February through Beth Shalom Records.

Speaking about their reimagining of the track, ebbuku says; “I approached this mix with one goal in mind, reinventing the feeling of the pit. Growing fruitfully out of the friendship formed on their co-headline tour last year, Huw Lloyd of Slap Rash discusses his remix of the single also; “Dog is one of my personal favourites from the Sleemo boys, so it was an honour to be asked to put my spin on the track. I wanted to maintain the ambience and grit while pulling some elements of low-fi hip hop sampling and the textural noise we work into SLAP RASH. When you’re given great elements to work with, the process becomes limitless. Simple as that.
