Sleepwave shares "Through the looking glass" video
Sleepwave is the new band from former Underoath singer Spencer Chamberlain, featuring band mate Stephen Bowman. The band proudly shares a new video for their track "Through The Looking Glass" that fans can watch here: http://youtu.be/BYT_qBIwcpw .
Sleepwave will release their debut album Broken Compass on September 15 on Epitaph Records. Broken Compass delivers the dirty dark side of electronica through the lens of classic song structure and melody. Sleepwave is a cocktail of Muse, Soundgarden, Deftones, Nine Inch Nails and Smashing Pumpkins, with echoes of the ‘90s alt-rock radio dial. "We wear our influences on our sleeve, but we’ve put it together and approached all of it in a way that’s fresh and unique," says Spencer Chamberlain. The band worked with producer David Bendeth (Bring Me The Horizon, Of Mice and Men, Paramore) to create an album of intense anthemic rock.
With Chamberlain at the helm, Underoath became a major force in the post-hardcore scene, with two gold albums, multiple Grammy nominations, and crossover success unusual for bands in the scene. Now come Sleepwave with their debut album Broken Compass, the next step in the evolution of Spencer Chamberlain. With an even more melodic, accessible sound, sacrificing none of the intense songwriting that garnered Underoath and a massive following.
