Stavroz & RY X drop new single 'Lilac'

The track invites endless repeats: intimate electronics and warm vocals gently settling into your ears. It’s not a forced dancefloor filler or a peak-time bombshell; instead, it’s powerful without posturing, present without demanding — a song that lives as comfortably in the foreground as it does in the background.

RY X and Stavroz meet where melancholy and movement overlap. His voice slips effortlessly into the Stavroz universe: cinematic, emotional, and rooted in rhythm. Lilac feels less like a collaboration and more like a shared language — one that needs no translation.

The video for Lilac premieres this Friday Sept 26.

Pre-order the upcoming album Take A Seat via the band’s website - out October 17, 2025 via Moodfamily.

ABOUT STAVROZ

Born in Belgium, Stavroz began as a DJ duo with IJsbrand De Wilde and Gert Beazar, later evolving into a full band with the addition of Maxim Helincks (guitar) and Pieter De Meester (bass). Known for their acoustic-electronic fusion, the group crafts atmospheric soundscapes—alive with warmth, tension, and emotional depth.

With over 100 million streams worldwide and international radio airplay, Stavroz has cultivated a devoted global following. Their debut EP, The Ginning, went gold in France, while their track Gold Town held the #1 spot on Beatport’s Electronic Top 100 for several months and was featured in the video game Grand Theft Auto V.

On stage, Stavroz delivers deeply immersive live performances. They’ve toured extensively—selling out shows across Turkey, Mexico, the USA, and Asia, cutting across cultures with a sound that defies borders.

In 2022, they released their debut album, Mindibu — a cinematic, genre-blurring record that received widespread acclaim (Studio Brussel, Radio 1, Wonderland Sessie) with Belgian newspaper De Standaard dubbing them “Belgium’s best kept music secret”.
