Stefanie Heinzmann releases single Mother's Heart

Stefanie Heinzmann looks into the mirror with us by her side. Questioning, honest, intimate. In ‘Mother’s Heart’ the singer tells us about a childhood spent chasing the social norms of beauty, and how she used her appearance as a teenager to rebel against them.

“I had phases when I didn’t like myself. Am I feminine enough? Are my boobs to small? Is my ass too big? My parents played a huge role in helping me, telling me how proud they were whatever I did. For them I’m the greatest girl in the world”, says Stefanie.

This train of thought inspired her to write ‘Mother’s Heart’ – a powerful, modern track celebrating individuality to dance to like nobody’s watching. Or like they are and we don’t care. “Mother’s Heart” kicks off as a ballad and build up to become a true pop anthem. A mix of goosebumps and empowerment carried by Stefanie’s strong voice. “The song should fill people up with the feeling that they are beautiful just the way they are.”

In 2019, Stefanie’s music is already well known. From being nominated for a 1LIVE Krone for “Best Female Artist” in 2018 in Germany to winning a Swiss Music Award for “Best Female Solo Act” in 2016, Stefanie can claim that she collaborated with no one else than Lionel Richie, Joss Stone or the Harlem Gospel Choir, all along with 7 top-ten album chart entries across Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
