Strange Modes release track “ painkillers ” ; the album will be out on September 26!

Strange Modes' first album asks the question of who or what influences and controls our way of thinking. Where do our patterns and imprints come from, and how do they affect our behaviour and decisions? In the face of a patriarchal world that is currently falling apart, the duo explores the question of who shapes these inner obstacles on ‘who builds the houses in your head’ . Musically, they cover all moods, from dreamy to intimidating to vehement, and the discussion is thus perfectly translated into music.

who builds the houses in your head consists of eight tracks that form the perfect dramaturgy : The first part of the album marks the departure, it begins with a noise, then the restless journey inward begins, whipped by the questions, doubts and uncertainties that preoccupy us today. The song painkillers numbs the pain of a torn existence. Then comes the second part of the album, which is all about contemplation. Finally, part three, or rather : resignation.

The songs of Strange Modes are relentless and unyielding, and it is precisely this that impressively demonstrates to us that the best thing that can emerge from a world in decay is art.
