Stromae unveils "L'enfer" in an exceptional live performance on French TV!

After “Santé”, which has accumulated more than 50 million streams worldwide, Stromae unveils “L’enfer”, the second single from his long-awaited third album "Multitude" (to be released on March 4, 2022) during an exceptional performance at the 8PM TV news on TF1.

On a powerful and moving production, the artist tackles a most serious theme: suicidal thoughts. Carried by melancholic piano notes, the track gradually rises in power with catchy choirs and piercing keys in the chorus. Stromae skillfully juggles contrasts to explore the most intimate themes. Here, it is the depressive spiral that the artist lays bare in a few bars, from everyday boredom to the darkest types of escape. Hints of dark humor reinforce this very palpable emotion, just like the strings and percussions punctuate the choruses, where, in a deluge of reverb, Bulgarian voices become elegiac. And when the vengeful synth enters the stage, one can only join the fight: "L'enfer" is a talisman to fight the darkest of thoughts. Stromae, as usual, finds the right words that echo in our heads. A great piece by a great artist. "L'enfer" is now available on all streaming platforms.

Stromae has also previously shared a series of new shows in 2022. The 3 avant-premiere shows on February 22th (Brussels), February 24th (Paris) and February 27th (Amsterdam) sold out in no less than 15 minutes. Stromae will be on tour starting 2023 in France, Switzerland and Belgium.
