Switzeland's NEMO wins the Eurovision Song Contest 2024

24-year-old Nemo from Switzerland took home the trophy last night in Malmö. For the first time in Eurovision history, a non-binary artist wins the competition. It is Switzerland's third win at the Eurovision Song Contest, following victory by Lys Assia in 1956 and Céline Dion in 1988.

"It is an incredible honor to be able to represent Switzerland at the 'ESC'. The Eurovision platform offers a huge opportunity to build bridges between different cultures and generations. That's why it's very important to me as a genderqueer person to stand up for the entire LGBTQIA community," says Nemo.

"The Code" is the artistic manifesto of Nemo’s personal journey.
