The Jins Share "Effigy" Video | 'It's a Life' Out June 30th via 604 Records

The Jins today share the video to their new single “Effigy”, taken from their forthcoming debut album. Recorded in Vancouver with producer Dave Genn (54-40), It’s a Life is set for release on June 30th via 604 Records.

Speaking on the making of the video the band says, “Years ago, we were hanging out and had the greatest idea for a music video for Effigy. Finally we got a chance to shoot a video for the song, but in all our excitement no one realized we had forgotten the idea. There was something to do with puppets, fire, and hooded people, and with the help of director Matt Miller we put together this video. We think it probably came out a lot better than whatever half-baked idea we were initially so excited about.”

Hailing from Vancouver, The Jins are Ben Larsen (vocals, guitar), Hudson Partridge (bass) and Jamie Warnock (drums, vocals). It’s a Life is the band’s debut full length album and follows the ‘90s-crushed guitar rock of their Death Wish EP (2019) which saw the track “She Said” unexpectedly take off on TikTok and bring the band to an even bigger streaming audience (the song has over 7 million streams and counting on Spotify).

It’s a Life is set for release on June 30th via 604 Records.
