The Parasite Syndicate release 'The Parasite Syndicate'

THE PARASITE SYNDICATE release their new stunning self-titled new album 'The Parasite Syndicate' on 24th February.

This phenomenal debut album is a hard hitting slab of savage, bleak metal that seamlessly blends melodies and raw emotions, dark and delicious music with huge riffs and a pounding backbeat, an enticing glimpse into what's to come from this exceptionally talented band in the future!

The Parasite Syndicate are a five piece from Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire who have been together for a year and was formed when Rich Donohoe left his former band DirE. The guys decided to change their name from Diris to The Parasite Syndicate as they felt this new name better represented their style and content of music.

"We have influences of Nu, industrial, death and melodic metal in our music. Our songs represent conspiracy theory, alternative history, the supernatural, collectivism, space, time, abuse and love" - Rich Donohoe

Their debut single 'Red Sky' was released in November 2016, followed by second single & animated video 'Breath You In' in December.

Vocalist Rich's other passion saw him blitz his way to reach the last 8 in the semi finals on MasterChef: The Professionals with his incredible, unique style of cooking, a huge feat by any standards and garnering the following from Gregg Wallace "I find your dish challenging and delightful and intriguing - and bordering on genius." Funnily enough, I think Rich will now have a never ending stream of friends wanting to go over for dinner, and who could blame them, the mix of incredible food and serious metal music is just too good to resist!
