The Radar Station Shares New EP "Songs for the Half-Light" acoustic versions of their successful "Birds of Choice" album
Today the melancholic indie rockers of The Radar Station release their third EP of 2026. “Songs for the Half-Light” is an EP featuring four unique acoustic versions of songs from the second album, “Birds of Choice”. But it is much more than that: the EP heralds a new direction for The Radar Station.
They sound more fragile, more authentic and more intimate, leaving more room to breathe for the warm timbre of Brent Buckler’s voice. Their sound as a band has been distilled to its essence: melancholic and mesmerizing.
With the talented Benjamin Hermans on bass clarinet and baritone sax, regulars Robbe Broeckx (drums) and Toon Rumen (double bass), and companion Sander Cliquet (backing vocals, guitar, soundscapes). Brent Buckler (vocals, guitar) handled the recording, production and mixing himself.
