Trevor Daniel Sets The “Tempo” For His Fearless Records Debut With The Launch Of New Single
Channeling his emotions through art, Trevor Daniel creates lush, danceable pop through dark and synthesized energy with a backbone of hip-hop production to splatter his emotions all over his songs; just in the same way he paints his own album artwork. Born in Texas but now residing in Los Angeles, he exploded onto the scene with a DIY-spirit through uploading early tracks himself before catching the eye of super producer and founder of Internet Money, whose work includes artists such as Juice WRLD, XXXTentacion, Lil Tecca, the Kid Laroi and more.
This connection led Daniel to incredible heights, including billions of streams, multi-platinum plaques such as his smash hit “Falling,” and collaborations with stars like Selena Gomez on the gold-certified “Past Life,” Summer Walker, Bebe Rexha, Zara Larsson, blackbear and Ty Dolla ign, just to name a few. He even teamed up with Becky G and Tainy on “F is for Friends” from The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge On The Run - Original Motion Picture Soundtrack. Not to mention lighting up major festival stages such as Lollapalooza, Outside Lands and Firefly.
Now, Trevor Daniel has inked a deal with Fearless Records to enter the next phase of his career, which is anchored by the debut of his new single “Tempo” that is available now on all streaming platforms.
Hazy synths dissolve into a glitchy beat punctuated by his breathy delivery. Getting flirty, he urges, “Girl, I wanna see you pick up the tempo.” “It’s more of an ‘ass-shaking’ type of vibe,” he laughs. “I’ve been really into post-punk sounds like The Cure and eighties goth, but I also love the Timbaland drums. I knew it would be such a sick combo.”
Now free to express himself naturally and control his own destiny, Trevor Daniel is back and setting the “Tempo” for big things to come
